Department of Research and Development at Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology (VVIET) Mysore is headed by Dr. A D Srinivasan, a Doctorate from of The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), who has about 4 decades of Academic, Research and Industrial Experience.
The department has many facilities and proactive initiatives to promote R & D activities including sponsored & academic research, product development, patents, startups, innovations and consultancy. The vibrant R&D culture fosters innovative spirit to kindle the young minds at the campus under able guidance and mentorship of motivated faculty members at all the departments. The vision and mission of R&D department at VVIET is to carve a niche not only in India but also abroad with regard to Product development and Innovation. The R&D department has established vibrant Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and also has active collaborations with various work groups and professional bodies in India and abroad.
