Library
VVIET is a premier institution committed to providing quality education in the field of engineering and technology. VVIET has grown to become a center of excellence, nurturing young minds and shaping future leaders.
A Central library is a dedicated space within a college or university campus that serves as a hub of knowledge and information. It houses a vast collection of books, journals, periodicals, and other resources carefully curated to support the academic pursuits of students and faculty.
The library’s organized sections and departments provide various services to aid research and independent learning. Students and researchers can access various physical and digital resources, including books, e-books, scholarly databases, and multimedia materials. The library also offers valuable services such as research assistance, interlibrary loan programs, and workshops on information literacy. It provides a quiet and conducive environment for study and intellectual exploration, fostering a learning culture within the college community.

The Vision for Central Library is to provide seamless access to information to its users in a networked environment and to become a premier Learning Resource Centre with a state-of-the-art library resources and services in Engineering, Science & Technology and related areas.

The mission of the Central Library, VVIET is to provide access to high quality information resources in all forms to the faculty, students, and staff in support of teaching, learning, and research mission of the Institute. With a commitment to excellence in services, the Central Library offers information resources and innovative services to support the intellectual inquiry, research, and lifelong learning needs of VVIET community.

Our goal is to cultivate a collaborative and resourceful environment that supports students, faculty, and researchers in their academic pursuits. We manage and provide access to diverse information resources, including digital and print collections, and work to enhance learning and research through quality resources, facilities, and networked services.

Modern Building: Spanning 800 square meters, the library features a contemporary, well-designed structure with ample space and large reading halls, ensuring a conducive environment for study and research.

With over 34,000 volumes, 5,100 titles, and a range of reference materials, the collection covers essential topics in science and engineering. Additionally, users have access to a vast digital library, including 12,000+ e-books, 15,000+ e-journals, and multimedia resources, fostering a comprehensive learning experience.

Automated Library
Library uses KOHA Integrated Library Management Software, which supports in-house operations of library such as acquisition, Cataloguing, Circulation, serials control and OPAC. Database is up-to-date.
Smart Circulation system is used successfully via Bar-Code technology for all the resources and barrower cards.
